United Ucassaim SCC, Raitura SC win

United Ucassaim SCC, Raitura SC, and Holy Cross Arambol emerged victorious in their respective matches of the GFA Third Division League on Wednesday.

In the first match at Moira ground, United Ucassaim SCC defeated Miracles Sports Club 5-1. Injmamul Khan was the star of the show for United Ucassaim SCC, scoring two early goals in the 2nd and 17th minutes. Leon Kerketta, Ganesh Pujar, and Soham Sheticar also found the net for United Ucassaim SCC. Miracles Sports Club's only goal came from Manjunath Bangar in the 3rd minute.

At DBO Fatorda ground, Raitura SC defeated Raia Sporting Club 3-1 in a closely contested match. Milder Soares opened the scoring for Raitura SC in the 9th minute. Velroy Faleiro and Sweden Barbosa added to the lead with goals in the 68th and 71st minutes, respectively. Raia Sporting Club managed to pull one back in the dying moments, with Mantesh Gaude finding the net in the 90th minute.

The match demonstrated Raitura SC's ability to control the game and secure a well-deserved victory.

At Poriat ground, Holy Cross Arambol won 2 – 1 against SAI Avtar SC. Holy Cross Arambol faced a resilient SAI Avtar SC in a closely contested match. Stepleton Fernandes opened the scoring for Holy Cross Arambol in the 7th minute, and Christle Alfonso extended their lead in the 56th minute. SAI Avtar SC fought back valiantly and managed to pull one back in the 90th minute, courtesy of Sagun Shirodkar.

At Chandor ground, SFX SC Gonvol Xeldem came from behind to register a 3-2 win over Dicarpale SC.

 

Kavin Furtado scored a brace for Dicarpale giving them a two-goal lead in the first half. However, SFX came back strongly and scored thrice through Alreach Peixoto brace and a Lesli Gomes goal.
