Sesa FA snatched a late 1-1 draw against league leaders Pax of Nagoa, keeping their unbeaten run alive and throwing the title race wide open. Shubert Pereira's 59th-minute penalty had seemed to put Pax in control, but substitute Roham Kambli, with minutes ticking away, rose like a phoenix to head home a dramatic equalizer and leave the Ella crowd in raptures. The result extends Sesa's unbeaten streak to five games and moves them to within three points of the summit, sending a powerful message to the contenders in the tightest GFA Pro League race in years.

Meanwhile, at Benaulim, Guardian Angel SC and FC Goa locked horns in a battle that ended in a 1-1 stalemate. Velon Rebello's first-half strike for Guardian Angel looked set to hand them all three points, but Peter Carvalho's bizarre own goal in the 81st minute gifted FC Goa a point they barely deserved. The draw leaves Guardian Angel on 14 points , while FC Goa inch up to sixth with 17 points from 11 games.
