Sesa FA eased past Guardian Angel SC 2-0 in the Goa Professional League at Sirsaim ground on Sunday.

Sesa FA’s first goal came when Clencio Pinto tapped in a decisive pass from substitute Sachidanand Satelkar, breaking the deadlock after a sustained attacking push. Shortly after, Sachidanand doubled the lead himself, receiving a quick throw-in from Pinto, dribbling past defenders, and firing into the net to seal Sesa's advantage.

Following their victory over Geno FC, Sesa FA coach Charles Dias kept faith in his starting XI, with anticipation high around their promising young striker Sankalp Kankonar, eager to make an impact. Meanwhile, Guardian Angel’s Riston Rodrigues, fresh off a narrow win against Vasco SC, also opted for an unchanged lineup, banking on forward Cyril Dias, whose crucial goal in the last fixture turned the tide in their favor in the Goa Pro League.

In the first half, Guardian Angel came out with an aggressive approach, intent on seizing an early lead. Despite the relentless pressure, Sesa’s defense stayed resilient, holding the line and keeping the scoreboard blank at halftime.

In the second half, Sesa FA’s coach Charles Dias injected fresh energy into the attack by introducing Clencio Pinto, sparking an offensive push in search of the opening goal. Sesa’s drive only intensified minutes later when Dias brought on Sachidanand Satelkar, whose flair added a crucial spark to their efforts. The tactical shift paid dividends as Clencio Pinto tapped in a well-timed pass from Sachidanand, finally breaking the deadlock and rewarding Sesa’s relentless pursuit of the lead.

Just moments after the opener, Sesa FA doubled their advantage as Sachidanand Satelkar etched his name on the scoresheet. Clencio Pinto’s quick throw-in found Sachidanand, who skillfully controlled the ball, weaved past defenders into the box, and unleashed a shot that cemented Sesa’s lead.

In response, Guardian Angel regrouped and pressed forward in search of a lifeline, but Sesa’s defense remained resolute, shutting down every attempt and keeping Guardian Angel at bay.
