Pax of Nagoa humble Panjim; Geno FC down Sesa FA

Pax of Nagoa and Geno Sports Club registered wins in their respective encounters of Goa Professional League matches on Tuesday.

While Nagoa trounced Panjim Footballers 5-0 in one sided affair, Geno SC too had an easy outing securing a 2-1 win over Sesa FA at SAG Benaulim ground. 

At Nagoa ground, Jesloy Moniz scored a treble for the Pax of Nagoa side while Royal Oliveira and substitute Shubert Pereira scored the other two goals to take the final tally to five goals.

At Benaulim, Geno broke the deadlock in the 41st minute through Aryan Chauhan. While the remainder of the game saw missed chances and good goalkeeping, Geno FC then doubled the lead through Chaitan Komarpant. However Sesa FA’s golden boy didn’t miss scoring in this fixture either as Joshua DSilva pulled a goal back for the academy boys at the death. 

Geno’s Gautam was given the player of the match award.

In GFA 2nd Division League, Fr Agnelo YSC Paroda downed UC Telaulim 10-2.

In GFA 3rd Division League, BITS Pilani ran riot over Cortalim Gymkhana 7-0. 

In GFA U15 League, FC YFA registered a 4-1 win over Guardian Angel SC.

In GFA U13 League, Adarsh Yuvak Sangh and YSC Colvale played out a thrilling 3-3 draw. Dunes SC downed Goa United 8-4. Valpoi SC trounced Augustias SC 7-2. The Anjuna Gymkhana beat Laxmi Prasad 3-1. Salcete FC beat Colmorod Ratwado 3-2. Raia FC defeated Verna SC 12-1.
