Guardian Angel SC eased past Churchill Brothers 3-0 in the Goa Professional League at Nagoa Panchayat Ground on Monday.

The match got off to a perfect start for Guardian Angel when Peter Carvalho rose to head home a precise free-kick from Moises D’Sa in the 35th minute, following a foul on Preston Castano just outside the box.

In the second half, Ronald Singh almost doubled the lead early, but his effort was cleared off the line by Sarif Khan. Singh wasn’t to be denied, though, as he struck a stunning free-kick in the 66th minute, curling it into the top corner. Just minutes later, Singh completed his brace with a clinical finish, rounding the goalkeeper after a brilliant through ball from D’Sa to seal a comfortable 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, FC Goa displayed a ruthless attacking performance, thrashing Panjim Footballers 7-0 at Duler Stadium, Mapusa. Sitroy Carvalho was the star, scoring a brace, while Malsawmtluanga, Sanatomba Singh, and Saish Gaunkar all found the back of the net. Panjim’s woes worsened when Prasil Kankonkar scored an own goal, and in the dying moments, Mallikjan Kalegar completed the rout with another goal, securing a commanding win for FC Goa.
