Goa thump Chhattisgarh

Goa continued their winning streak in the Swami Vivekananda U20 Men's National Football Championship with a decisive 4-0 victory over Chhattisgarh in Narainpur on Saturday. Dalwin Coelho's brace fueled Goa's dominance, with Adarsh Raj and Soham Nagvekar adding to the tally to secure a commanding win.

The match was a tale of two halves. Goa controlled the midfield in the first half, creating scoring opportunities but facing a stubborn Chhattisgarh defense that held them scoreless before the break.

The second half saw Goa break the deadlock in the 48th minute as Dalwin Coelho found the back of the net. Energized by the goal, Coelho doubled Goa's advantage just four minutes later with a brilliant strike.

Goa's momentum proved unstoppable. Adarsh Raj converted a penalty in stoppage time, and Soham Nagvekar sealed the deal with a final goal, leaving Chhattisgarh reeling from a 4-0 defeat.

This victory propels Goa to the top of Group B with six points from two matches, closely followed by Delhi in second position.
