Ronaldo Oliveira missed out on extending his lead at the top of the goal scorers charts as Sesa FA held high flying Goa Police 0-0 in the Goa Professional League at Sirsaim on Sunday.
Coach Charles Dias will be pleased with his sides performance as his boys in blue managed to arrest the momentum of the leagues newest entrants, who are near the top of the goals chorign charts with 19 goals from eight games, while Sesa themselves have managed only a modest nine from seven games.
Having thrashed the likes of Vasco SC and registered comfortable wins over sides like Churchill Brothers and Clube De Salgaocar, Goa Police came into the fixture guns blazing, but despite early attempts to probe the Sesa defense, Goa police came up short.
The second half was much of the same, and although a few promising attempts were made by either side, the scoreline held 0-0, ensuring both sides got a share of the spoils
