The Goa Football Association (GFA) President, Dr. Caitano Fernandes, extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the young, talented footballers who are set to represent India on the global stage. These gifted individuals have made the state proud with their remarkable achievements in the sport, and the GFA President acknowledged their dedication and hard work.

"In terms of football, it's a great achievement for these young talents. Some of these players have even played in the Goa Pro League, and I am delighted that our players are performing exceptionally well in small-sided games," stated Dr. Caitano Fernandes.

He acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead on the global stage but expressed confidence that the experience gained by the players would not only benefit them but also inspire others in the football community.

"As a football lover, I wish the team success in the competition. We know it wouldn't be easy, but the experience they will bring in will help and benefit others. We should utilize this talent, and our Goan clubs should facilitate a conducive environment for their growth and development," added Dr. Caitano.

The Goa Football Association extends its wholehearted support to the players and expresses its commitment to developing football at the grassroots level. The GFA firmly believes that these young talents have the potential to make a mark on the international stage and bring glory to the nation.

"I will definitely speak to these players and endeavor to provide them with a platform in some of the futsal teams for the State futsal championship so that their talent will also get a chance to represent India in AFC and FIFA events," said Dr. Caitano.

The GFA President concluded by affirming his determination to collaborate with various stakeholders in the football community to ensure that Goan football continues to flourish and produce outstanding players for India's sporting future.
