Geno FC suffered a disappointing collapse on Sunday, squandering a two-goal lead to end in a 2-2 stalemate against Churchill Brothers in the Goa Professional League at Tilak Maidan. The result keeps Geno FC in fifth place with 38 points, while Churchill Brothers remain in ninth with 28 points.

Geno FC dominated the first half, with Suraj Gurung netting an early header off a Chaitan Komarpant cross. Jachi doubled their lead just before the break, seemingly putting the game out of reach.

However, Churchill Brothers emerged from halftime with renewed determination. Janio Fernandes sparked the comeback with a 62nd-minute header, and a chaotic scramble in the box led to a Geno FC own goal in the 84th, leveling the scoreline and securing a hard-fought draw.
