Dempo SC Juniors eased past Sao Jose De Areal SC with a commanding 3-1 victory in the GFA First Division League at the Dempo Sports Academy ground, Ella, on Saturday.

The hosts were in control from the outset, with Soham opening the scoring in the 23rd minute before Macnelle doubled the lead five minutes later. Despite Areal pulling one back through Valentino’s penalty deep into first-half stoppage time (45+4’), Macnelle struck again in the 62nd minute to seal the win for Dempo Juniors.

Meanwhile, at the DBO ground in Fatorda, Mandopa SC brushed aside Associacao Academica De Moira 4-1 in a dominant performance.

Laxman gave Mandopa an early lead in the 12th minute and added his second just after the hour mark. Achilles made it 2-0 in the 56th minute before wrapping up the scoring in the 79th. Vinayak scored a consolation for Moira in the 73rd minute, but it was too little too late.
