Churchill Brothers SC secured a 2-1 victory over Sesa FA in their Goa Professional League encounter at Sirsaim ground on Friday. Jobern Cardozo and Shario Gomes scoored for the winners while Joshua D'Silva found the consolation goal for Sesa FA.

Sesa FA remain on the third spot with 27 points.

On the other hand, Churchill Brotherss leapfrog two spots to eighth place, with 20 points after 15 games.

Churchill Brothers dominated the first half with Jobern Cardozo scoring in the 29th minute. Sesa FA fought back in the second half and equalized through Joshua D'Silva's 88th-minute goal.

Just when it looked like the match was heading for a draw, Shario Gomes popped up with a winner in the dying seconds of stoppage time to send the Churchill Brothers fans into raptures.

In the GFA II Division League, PVC Parra came back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Parish Youth of Vagator 6-5 .
