Calangute Association edged out Panjim Footballers in a thrilling 3-2 victory to cap off their Goa Professional League season at the Duler Stadium on Tuesday. Despite the win, Calangute finished in eighth place within the league's 13-team standings.

The match was a seesaw battle, with Panjim striking first thanks to Maximo D'costa's goal in the 5th minute. Calangute roared back, with Jovito Fernandes equalizing in the 31st minute and Anuj Kuttikar netting the go-ahead goal just before halftime.

Panjim refused to go quietly, as Mackenzie Figueiredo found the back of the net in the 77th minute to level the score once more.  However, a dramatic goal by Pratesh Shirodkar in extra time (90+1') secured the win for Calangute Association.
