Calangute Association piled misery on Churchill Brothers FC following their 2-0 win in GFA Goa Professional League at Nagoa ground.

Churchill Brothers FC had a promising start on Friday, however, after a barren first half saw them concede two goals in the second half. Calangute Association’s looked threatening throughout but took the lead soon after the restart through Dalwin Coelho and Kirtikesh Gadekar, who doubled the tally with 12 minutes left on the clock.

Meanwhile at Ella ground, Dempo SC and FC Goa played out a goalless draw in a match which saw both teams being reduced to 10 players. Sairon Albuerqueque received marching orders for Dempo SC in the first half while Leewan Castanha was sent off for FC Goa late in the game.

GFA Second Division, St Anthony SC assolda outplayed Guirdolim Club 4-2. Carmel SC ran riot over UC Telaulim 12-0.

GFA Women’s League, Compassion FC defeated Vintage 73 SC 2-1.

GFA U13 Division II, Benfica YC down Cortalim Gymkhana 2-1. Vasco United won 4-1 against CAC Cansaulim. Canacona SCC humbled UC Orlim 13-0. Raia FC defeated Sarzora SC 9-1.
