Sporting Clube de Goa found themselves trailing after Lemmet slotted home a penalty for FC Goa's young guns early in the second half. But substitute Alister Anthony wrote the script for a dramatic comeback, netting a decisive brace to secure a 3-1 victory.

The match was a tale of two halves. FC Goa dominated possession, but veteran Sporting defenders Joyner Lourenco and Joel Colaco stood firm. A missed chance from Lloyd Cardozo just after the restart foreshadowed the drama to come.

Then came the turning point – a clumsy Sporting challenge that handed Lemmet the chance to break the deadlock from the spot. However,  Doyal Alves provided a swift response for Sporting, firing home a low cross from Kunal Kundaikar.

Just minutes later, a handball in the box gifted Sporting a penalty of their own. Super-sub Anthony stepped up, burying the spot-kick with composure. FC Goa pushed for an equalizer, but Sporting's defense held on.

In the dying moments, Anthony sealed the deal. A dazzling solo run and a stunning finish put the game out of reach, delivering a thrilling comeback win for Sporting Clube de Goa.

Meanwhile at Benaulim, Guardian Angel SC clinched a narrow 3-2 win over Vasco SC.

A scoreless first half at Benaulim set the stage for a second-half showdown between Guardian Angel SC and Vasco SC. Velito Rocha finally broke the deadlock for Vasco SC early in the second period, but Guardian Angel SC refused to go down quietly.

Fulganco Cardozo answered just four minutes later, leveling the score and igniting a Guardian Angel surge.  Their relentless pressure paid dividends as Peter Carvalho unleashed a shot that put Guardian Angel ahead just nine minutes after their equalizer.

The match looked to be slipping away from Vasco SC when Carvalho hammered home his second goal in the 80th minute. But just when it seemed over, Vasco SC rallied, with Moomin Bhat pulling one back in stoppage time. A frantic search for the equalizer ensued, but time ran out, leaving Guardian Angel SC with a nail-biting 3-2 win.
